2013 Thailand Jean Vatchara Gambling Add to Collection

Bet You Don't Want That is an anti-gambling campaign done mid 2013 for an advertising competition. The idea was based on the a group of gambler's insight. They believe that gambling is a legitimate source of income that will one day change their lives for the better. The aim was to change use this particular perspective to change their minds.

The brief was to create a campaign that would encourage people to quit gambling and inform them of the consequences.

There has not been many gambling campaigns around.

There are two big challenges

— To speak to a huge group of people who are or would be gamblers.

— Gambling comes in every form and cannot all be represented in one campaign.

Inspired by the King of Hearts name —The suicide king playing cards was used to give the idea that visual twist. The message of this campaign is simple. Gambling will not turn your life around for the better.
