Originally published by J. Jaques & Son, 102 Hatton Garden, London around 1880, it is based around the London postal districts and the distinctive public buldings within the different districts. The set shown here is the second edition and contains The Tower Bridge, which was completed in 1894.
Cards are divided into the old London postal districts - SW, W, EC, N, NW, E, WC, SE - with title cards listing all the cards in each set.

Amongst my achievements is producing a limited-edition replica of a 17th-century English pack using woodblocks and stencils—a labour of love. Today, the World of Playing Cards is a global collaborative project, with my son Adam serving as the technical driving force behind its development.
