Above: Naipes "Dural" Clase Opaca made in Venezuela. 40 cards, numbered 1-7, 10, 11, 12 in the modern Spanish Catalan style. The ace of coins has Spanish flags draped either side of the central shield, which bears an armoured helmet in front of laurel and palm leaves. Beneath are a cornucopia with fruits, an anchor and a package symbolising maritime trade and abundance. There is an inscription "Tipo Español - Hecho en Venezuela" around the bottom of the shield. The four of cups has a caduceus and a pair of wings.
