Intermarché FFF promotion 2026
Two 2026 World Cup items given away as prizes in an Intermarché promotion.
In conjunction with the Fédération Française de Football (FFF), the French supermarket chain Intermarché ran a promotion during the 2026 World Cup which lasted from 8 June to 19 July 2026. These two packs were among the prizes.
7 Familles Les Equipes de France
A Happy Families-type game with full-colour photos of the current stars of French football. What is unusual here is that both male and female players are included in the same pack. The families are divided according to the different playing positions – forwards, wingers, goalkeepers, etc.

Jeu de 54 cartes
A pack with international faces but some rather peculiar features. Overall, the courts look squashed. It's as if poker-size designs had been squeezed for use on bridge-size cards but that those bridge-size designs had then been put back onto poker-size cards! Most obvious is probably the fact that the King of Spades is missing an eyebrow. The aces all have the same decoration: two stars and the FFF logo. The black suits are printed a deep violet-blue colour rather than pure black. It is noticeable, too, that the cards lack a black liner. This seems to be a modern feature found on a lot of cheaper packs.
Above: standard international pattern cards made in Belgium for Intermarché, 2026. 52 cards + 2 Jokers + 1 extra card in tuck box.
The two sets have a common back design and are both the same size: 63 x 85 mm.
There is a claim on both tuck boxes that these packs were manufactured in Belgium (‘Fabriqué en Belgique’). However, Ken Lodge agrees with me that these cards were almost certainly made in China. The designs closely resemble Ken’s type CUS7.6. The Joker is identical to the one shown on Ken’s blog page 69, Chinese part 3, no. 1449 ►
