James R. Eads is an American artist and playing-card designer, born in Los Angeles in 1989. He studied printmaking, painting and graphic design at a liberal arts school in New York before returning to Los Angeles, where he designed gig posters and created his first tarot deck, Light Visions, in 2013. He is the founder of Prisma Visions, a shop and creative studio opened in 2014. His portfolio includes divination tools, gig posters, print editions, paintings and virtual-reality work.
