Oriental playing cards

Hi, I am wondering if you can help. I have been clearing my Mother's drawers and found 2 packs of unopened oriental style De La Rue playing cards. I am hoping you can tell me a bit more about them? Thanks so much if you can. Tim.

the cards date from early 1930s.
