Disney

Disney’s characters and films have long appeared on playing cards and family games. Publishers and partners—Pepys, Piatnik, Fournier, Waddingtons, Cartamundi, Angel and others—produce tie-ins for film releases, theme parks and magazine or retail promotions. Formats include rummy, quartet (families), snap and picture packs, alongside standard packs adapted with photo stills or studio art; variants range from lenticular and notched cards to mini issues and double-boxed sets. Some packs add simple branded rules, while others serve as souvenirs for anniversaries, park openings or store campaigns.
