This index of playing-card designers, artists and illustrators includes individuals, small studios and independent producers.

The index has grown gradually, often through partial information, corrections, and additions made over time. In many cases, details such as attribution, dates, locations, or production roles are incomplete or hard to trace, particularly for small-scale or self-published work.

For that reason, much of the index has been built through small, practical contributions: identifying a designer, clarifying a credit, adding missing context, or recording designers and work that are not well documented elsewhere.
