The World of Playing Cards occasionally provides independent review and advisory work relating to the production and presentation of playing cards, tarot, and related decks.
This work is grounded in the same principles as the archive itself: historical awareness, material understanding, and clear description. It is intended to reduce avoidable mistakes and bring perspective to decisions that are otherwise easy to rush.
Project Review Report

What this is
A focused review of a proposed deck, assessed against practical experience, historical precedent, and common production failure points.
What’s included
- 60-90 minutes review time
- A written report (typically 2-3 pages) covering:
- concept clarity and audience fit
- comparables and differentiation
- production and specification flags
- claims and language check
- a short, prioritised list of next steps
What to send
A link to your draft campaign or product page, plus any printer quote or specification you already have, and a small set of key images.
Typical turnaround
2-4 days, depending on workload.
Kickstarter Campaign Banners
Kickstarter onlyWoPC offers a small number of banner placements for active Kickstarter campaigns related to playing cards, tarot, and similar decks. These placements are intended as simple notices, not endorsements.

A thin banner across the top of the site. One campaign at a time.

- Recommended size: 1600 x 50 px (safe to scale down)
- Formats: GIF, PNG, JPG
- File size: keep under 300 KB where possible
- Link: to the Kickstarter campaign only (no tracking pixels, no scripts)

What I don’t do
