Below: 40-card pack made by Francisco Girbau around 1910-1920, printed by colour lithography and with square corners. The dark grey tax stamp was used until around 1920. The inscription "Tipo Barcelona" on the four of cups refers to the Modern Catalan pattern which is associated with Barcelona and was copied in various South American countries. |
