Iron Horses of the West
Steam and diesel locomotives from the famous Atchison, Topeka and Sante Fe Railway Company.

Pictured in black and white in this pack are 54 different steam and diesel locomotives which saw service on the famous Atchison, Topeka and Sante Fe Railway between 1872 and 1974. All the images are in horizontal format. Each one has the name or type of locomotive along with the date when it was built or dates when it was in service. The backs depict a Unit 5700 locomotive in full colour with the legend “IRON HORSES of the WEST” above. Each locomotive is fully described in an accompanying booklet. See the box►

His collecting interests include playing cards, postcards, stamps (especially playing cards on stamps) and sugar wrappers. He is a Past President of the Scottish Philatelic Society, a former Chairman of the IPCS, a Past Master of the Worshipful Company of Makers of Playing Cards and Curator of the WCMPC’s collection of playing cards. He lives near Toulouse in France.
