Le Journal de Mickey
Perforated sheet of cards with Disney characters issued with the magazine Le Journal de Mickey.
A regular feature of the French children’s magazine, Le Journal de Mickey, is the inclusion of a sheet (or sheets) of perforated playing cards featuring different Disney characters. The mini cards are accompanied by a press-out box. Mickey, Minnie and Donald are of course included but some of the other names may be less familiar, e.g., Dingo (= Goofy), Pat Hibulaire (= Black Pete), Rapetou (= Beagle Boys), Gontran (= Gladstone Gander), Géo Trouvetou (= Gyro Gearloose). On the reverse is an advertisement for the Disney Channel. The sheet was originally stapled into the magazine.
