Team GB
Great Britains’s Olympic gold medallists from 1964 to 2004 published by the British Olympic Association.
Colour or black and white photographs – most in vertical format, with a few in horizontal format – of 52 different British Olympic gold medallists from the period 1964 to 2004. Below each photograph is the name of the medallist (or medallists), his/her/their event, and the date of the Games in which they participated. Probably issued to help to promote the British Olympic Association’s ambition of bringing the 2012 Olympic Games to London. The Games were indeed awarded to London in July 2005. Backs: “teamGB”, logo, and Olympic rings in white on a gold background. Printed by Carta Mundi for the British Olympic Association, c.2005. See the box►
