National Gallery of Art
Fifty-three masterpieces from the collections of the National Gallery of Art, Washington.
All the paintings reproduced in this pack were acquired by the National Gallery of Art, Washington, between 1937 and 1989. Artists whose works are featured include Canaletto, Cassatt, Cézanne, David, Fragonard, Gauguin, Klimt, Magritte, Manet, Monet, Picasso, Raphael, Renoir, Rothko, Rubens and van Gogh. The format is vertical throughout, which means that some works look extremely small compared with the originals. The artist’s name, title of the work, size and acquisition date are given at the foot of each card. The reverse is mainly white, with the name of the gallery in the upper half and ‘Washington’ at the bottom.
