More Menthol Filter Cigarettes
Elongated cards with designs by Wong Yui Man advertising More cigarettes.
More cigarettes were introduced in 1974. They were 120 mm in length, hence these elongated cards of almost exactly the same length. The cards were designed by Wong Yui Man whose name appears very discreetly on the King of Spades. The designs are predominantly red, yellow and green, and were probably intended to be updated versions of standard cards, with more modern features and stripped of most of their traditional attributes. The kings have distinctly Chinese-style moustaches.
Above: More Menthol Filter Cigarettes advertising playing cards with designs by Wong Yui Man, made in Hong Kong, c1975. 52 cards + 2 (identical) Jokers. Size: 48 x 122 mm.
