«Свадьба Кречинского» — комедия в трёх действиях Александра Сухово-Кобылина, написанная в 1854 году. English Translation
The Wedding of Krechinsky" is a satirical comedy by Alexander Sukhovo-Kobylina, which was adapted into a musical by Kim Ryshow and Alexander Kolker with a German stage version by Ingeburg Kretzschmar. The play, written in 1854 and forming the first part of a dramaturgical trilogy, tells the story of a social swindler, Krechinsky, who deceives a moneylender with a counterfeit deck of playing cards.
This set of playing cards pays homage to the play and its characters, turning them into the faces of the suit of hearts, symbolizing the themes of deception and romance central to the plot. The play has made a significant cultural impact, being included in Russian theater repertoires and performed internationally.

Started collecting in 1972 - only Russian cards. Later started travelling and get cards from foreign countries. Обменивался картами с коллекционерами из других стран. В запасе много русских колод для обмена.
