Queen High Equality Deck
A women’s liberation deck described as “A New Deck For A New Deal”.
In this equality deck, the Jack has become Jackie and the Queen is high – male domination has been eliminated. One wonders whether Jackie Kennedy may have been the inspiration for this change of name. The heads on the Jackie cards have been somewhat heavily drawn compared with the other court cards and they still look quite masculine. The range of colours used is limited to black, white, a pinkish red, and yellow. The equality message is carried through to the simple back design. The title card has a blank back.
