Möbel-Spiel
Publicity pack for the East German furniture industry, with designs by Werner-Hans Schlegel.
As indicated by the VM logo on the backs of these cards, this pack was made to publicise the East German furniture industry (“Vereinigte Möbelindustrie DDR”). The designs by Werner-Hans Schlegel feature items of furniture or details of pieces of furniture on all the numeral cards. The humorous court cards and Jokers depict figures with furniture in the background or jolly workers with their tools. Both back colours are shown. Issued in an edition of 3,000 bridge sets.
