Nordbräu Ingolstadt
Publicity pack for the German brewery Nordbräu with Bavarian pattern courts (adapted).

Ingolstadt is in Bavaria so it is not surprising that Bavarian pattern courts have been used in this pack. However, the heads have been poorly redrawn, with many of the courts now facing straight ahead instead of to the right or left. In place of many of the traditional attributes, each one holds a large beer mug, glass or stein with the name of the type of beer on it. The brewery’s logo appears centrally on the Ace (Daus) of Hearts, the Ace of Bells and all the pip cards from 10 down to 6. The back design incorporates the blue and white diamond pattern of the flag of Bavaria with the name of the brewery at both ends. Print run of 20,000 packs.
