All the characters one would expect to find in a pack about the American Wild West are featured here – Jesse James, Annie Oakley, Doc Holliday, Wyatt Earp, Calamity Jane, Wild Bill Hickok, Billy the Kid, etc. The somewhat crude court card designs are double-ended. No artist’s name is given. Fashionwest Accessories seem to have specialised in the sale of items such as bolo ties, necklaces, earrings, etc. – in other words, essential wear for all good cowboys and cowgirls! See the box

His collecting interests include playing cards, postcards, stamps (especially playing cards on stamps) and sugar wrappers. He is a Past President of the Scottish Philatelic Society, a former Chairman of the IPCS, a Past Master of the Worshipful Company of Makers of Playing Cards and Curator of the WCMPC’s collection of playing cards. He lives near Toulouse in France.
