Costumes Alsaciens
Typical costumes and views of Alsace together with lists of the principal sights.
The charming and colourful court cards (and two of the four Jokers) in this pack depict costumes from different parts of Alsace. Each is set against a typical local landscape or interior and all are named. On the Aces there are scenic views of Strasbourg, Colmar, Riquewihr and Haut Koenigsbourg. Further information about places (museums, cathedrals, festivals, etc.) in individual towns in the region is given on all the numeral cards. The coat of arms of Haut-Rhin forms the back design (against either an orange or a black background). No artist’s name is mentioned.
