Tatra Mountains souvenir
Photographic views of the Tatra Mountains with added touches.
Souvenir packs with photographic views can be boring but sometimes they can be made more interesting by a few added touches and a little extra thought. Such is the case in this souvenir pack featuring 55 different photographic views of the Tatra Mountains, which straddle the south of Poland and the north of Slovakia. On the court cards and aces one finds buildings and indoor scenes, while landscapes – mountains, lakes and valleys – dominate on the remaining cards. All the views are in vertical format. The courts and aces can be distinguished by little heads alongside the corner indices. A final, additional touch is the cutting away of the photos round those corner indices in order to give the appearance of mountain peaks. Titles are in Polish (upright) and English (reversed). • See the box
