OSHO Transformation Tarot
Beyond Cartomancy: Ancient Parables for Modern Self-Reflection.
OSHO Transformation Tarot is a distinctive collection of 60 cards, each beautifully illustrating ancient teachings and parables from the world’s greatest wisdom traditions. The cards depart from the traditional structure of a tarot deck: there are not 78 cards nor major or minor arcana, no established set of meanings or suit symbols for the purpose of cartomancy or divination. It’s a new take on the concept and functions more like an oracle deck, offering a fresh perspective on self-reflection and enlightenment through a wide range of spiritual teachings. The illustrations and stories provide insight into your contemporary outlook and point towards renewal and personal change. The accompanying book discusses each card, delving into its meaning to facilitate your understanding. The text is by Osho (formerly known as Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh¹). The evocative illustrations are by Pujan. • See the box

Important Note on Context and Links
- Note: it is important for readers to be aware that the Osho movement, led by the mystic philosopher Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh (1931-1990), has been associated with significant controversies, including allegations of criminal activities (such as the 1984 bio-terror attack in Oregon) and deeply disturbing and verifiable claims of child abuse within its ashrams. We encourage users to engage with this content critically and to research the historical context to form a balanced view.

I am the founder of The World of Playing Cards (est. 1996), a website dedicated to the history, artistry and cultural significance of playing cards and tarot. Over the years I have researched various areas of the subject, acquired and traded collections and contributed as a committee member of the IPCS and graphics editor of The Playing-Card journal. Having lived in Chile, England, Wales, and now Spain, these experiences have shaped my work and passion for playing cards. Amongst my achievements is producing a limited-edition replica of a 17th-century English pack using woodblocks and stencils—a labour of love. Today, the World of Playing Cards is a global collaborative project, with my son Adam serving as the technical driving force behind its development. His innovative efforts have helped shape the site into the thriving hub it is today. You are warmly invited to become a contributor and share your enthusiasm.
