The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
Characters and scenes from the Disney film of the same name, on a pack made for Eastern Europe.
Under the terms of the licensing agreement, this pack was made by Piatnik principally for the Hungarian and Czech markets. There are 13 different photographic images of Prince Caspian, Queen Susan, Peter, Aslan and a few other characters, repeated on the same card in each suit, with a fourteenth on the Joker (the Centaur). The numeral cards in each suit have decorated borders top and bottom. See the box►

His collecting interests include playing cards, postcards, stamps (especially playing cards on stamps) and sugar wrappers. He is a Past President of the Scottish Philatelic Society, a former Chairman of the IPCS, a Past Master of the Worshipful Company of Makers of Playing Cards and Curator of the WCMPC’s collection of playing cards. He lives near Toulouse in France.
