Great Romances of the 20th Century
Famous stars featured in series two and three of this BBC programme.
Three series of programmes featuring great romances of the twentieth century were made for BBC Worldwide to be broadcast on the Internet; only a few programmes were broadcast on TV. This pack includes stars whose stories were told in series two and three. On each card there is a black-and-white photograph of a famous couple, with their names and further text beneath. Monica Lewinsky appears on the Jokers. On the bridge score card there is an error at the foot where it reads “Made in the U”. Should this be “EU” or “UK”?! See the box►
Above: Great Romances of the 20th Century made by Games & Print Services, Canvey Island, GB, for BBC Worldwide, 2000. 52 cards + 2 (identical) Jokers + 1 bridge score card + leaflet in tuck box. Size: 56 x 87 mm.
