Pack featuring six images from the Disney film of the same name, on cards made for Eastern Europe.
Under the terms of the licensing agreement, this pack was made by Piatnik specifically for the Hungarian and Czech markets. There are only six different photographic images used in this pack – one for each of the courts and Aces, one for all the numeral cards, and one for the Joker. Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) can be found on the Kings and on the front of the box. All the cards have the same orange-brown border. Piatnik No. 157912. See the box►

In 1977 he joined the newly formed playing-card department at Stanley Gibbons in London before setting up his own business in Edinburgh four years later. His collecting interests include playing cards, postcards, stamps (especially playing cards on stamps) and sugar wrappers. He is a Past President of the Scottish Philatelic Society, a former Chairman of the IPCS, a Past Master of the Worshipful Company of Makers of Playing Cards and Curator of the WCMPC’s collection of playing cards. He lives near Toulouse in France.
