Old School Playing cards from Moon
Designed and published by Leo Scherfig
This is a delightful pack of art playing cards with designs in muted colours inspired by classic playing card, hence the title Old School.
The designer is Leo Sherfig, a graphic designer from southern Denmark who lives on the island of Møn, pronounced Moon. Each pack contains 52 cards, 2 jokers and 2 extra cards in an attractive box. They were published as a limited edition of 200 signed & numbered packs, now unfortunately sold out. The cards were printed by Carta Mundi.
Leo has designed other playing cards and recently showed his latest packs at the 2023 IPCS in Blois, France.

I'm British but I have now lived in the Netherlands for more than 50 years and am still enjoying every minute of it. I started collecting playing cards in the early 1980’s after speaking with my neighbour who was at that time a croupier in a casino. I started with just collecting jokers, but that soon led me to complete packs of cards and eventually to specialising in old and antique playing cards, particularly those of C.L. Wüst of Frankfurt, Germany. I am presently the Dutch representative of the I.P.C.S. and the auctioneer at the IPCS conventions.
