Above: nine cards from a Boxing pack which has advertising for chocolate on the reverse. The variety of postures coupled with the interesting suit symbols helps to animate the design. The coins are referred to as 'Colección de Monedas' and depict coins from various parts of the world. The sword symbols are replaced by miniature boxers: thus on the nine the odd number of symbols is made up by the inclusion of a referee. There was a companion Football pack issued around the same time. |
