Das Peanuts Kartenspiel
Cartoon characters from the famous comic strip devised by Charles M. Schultz.
Snoopy, Charlie Brown and other members of the gang feature on the double-ended court cards in this pack. Woodstock (named after the famous festival) appears on the Jokers. The layout of the pips on the numeral cards is non-standard. The indices are in German. Charles M. Schulz devised the Peanuts comic strip which began in 1950 and lasted until 2000, the year of Schulz’s death. It is slightly strange, therefore, that this (double) pack should have been issued in 2001. It is a pack not often seen for sale so perhaps the market for it was somewhat limited by then.
