Marvel Poker
Marvel comic book characters on a pack from Italy with designs by Marco Nizzoli.
Various Marvel comic book characters are depicted on the courts and Aces of this pack. Further vignettes in black and white adorn the 4s and 6s. None of the characters are named. No doubt to bring some unity to the pack, a designer was involved in the production. Marco Nizzoli is credited with the designs, he himself being a comic book author and illustrator. Marvel Comics started life in 1939 as Timely Comics. In 2009 they became part of The Walt Disney Company empire and one of their main revenue producers. See the box►
