Trek Deck Malta Vol. 1
Innovative pack describing 52 different treks around Malta, Gozo and Comino.
This is much more than just a souvenir pack with pretty pictures of Malta. Each card represents a trail or route which can be uncovered by scanning the QR code and following the map thus revealed. The routes are graded according to difficulty, length and type of terrain. Comino (10D) and Gozo (suit of Spades) are covered as well as the main island of Malta.
The suits are coloured light olive-green for the ‘red’ suits and dark olive-green for the ‘black’ suits. In addition, each corner pip is transformed into a leaf or a tree or has the Maltese cross superimposed (D). Full instructions for use are given on the three extra cards which take the place of the Jokers. See the box

Roddy started collecting stamps on his 8th birthday. In 1977 he joined the newly formed playing-card department at Stanley Gibbons in London before setting up his own business in Edinburgh four years later. His collecting interests include playing cards, postcards, stamps (especially playing cards on stamps) and sugar wrappers. He is a Past President of the Scottish Philatelic Society, a former Chairman of the IPCS, a Past Master of the Worshipful Company of Makers of Playing Cards and Curator of the WCMPC’s collection of playing cards. He lives near Toulouse in France.
