150 Years of Czechoslovakian Railways
Czech trains and railwayana from 1839 to 1989, made by Obchodní Tiskárny, Prague, Czechoslovakia.
The format of the old Bohemian pattern pack gave graphic artist Jiří Bouda (1934-2015) the chance to create a different image or vignette on each card in this pack. The subjects include trains, railway workers, signalling equipment and other machinery. The result is pleasing throughout and should have appeal among railway enthusiasts. Only the 10s are numbered. The maker’s name and logo appear on the Daus of Acorns. These also appear on an extra Daus of Leaves which carries an anniversary banner.
