X'Mas Elf Tarot

Deckstiny is a Thailand-based indie Tarot and oracle publisher, active since around 2020. It presents itself as a collective rather than a single named artist, although listing members such as Mate Horonumber and Oomsin Phumphat. Deckstiny’s decks are typically bright, cartoon-styled and sold as limited editions with numbered certification. The company does not publicly state where its decks are printed, but products are described by finish and ship from Thailand.

Above: the deck follows the Rider-Waite-Smith structure and naming, but the scenes are often simplified or reworked to fit the Christmas setting, so some cards depart from the standard compositions.

The X’Mas Elf Tarot (Green Edition, 2022) is built around the familiar Rider-Waite-Smith pattern: 78 Tarot cards (22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana across Wands, Cups, Swords, and Pentacles), with extras. This edition includes two art cards and a bonus “Happy” card (the Green Edition’s bonus is “Happy Narwhal”) and a festive logo card. A Red Edition exists with the same core deck, but with a red colour treatment.

The artwork is a Christmas re-skin, drawn in a cartoon-style. Classic scenes are re-staged as elves, Santas, wreaths, decorated Christmas trees, snow and toys. The minors follow the same approach, swapping suit symbols into seasonal equivalents such as candy canes for wands.

The cards are matte-coated 330 gsm stock at 120 × 70 mm, with borderless faces and holographic glitter edging (green-flecked on this edition). Packaging is a rigid two-piece box with a clasp.
