Topo Gigio card game by Joker S.A., Argentina, c.1985. Topo Gigio was the lead character of a children's puppet show on Italian television in the early 1960s The character was created in 1958 by artist Maria Perego. This card game consists in finding matching pairs. See the Rules

I am the founder of The World of Playing Cards (est. 1996), a website dedicated to the history, artistry and cultural significance of playing cards and tarot. Today, the World of Playing Cards is a global collaborative project, with my son Adam serving as the technical driving force behind its development.
