Shearing the Sheep

Shearing the Sheep, or £ s. d., published by J. Jaques & Son, c.1875. The game consists of three suits; Gold, Silver and Bronze, which rank according to their value. Play involves taking tricks and paying into or winning counters from the pool. See the Rules

Gold: 8 Half Sovereign cards, 7 Sovereign cards.

Silver: 8 Sixpence cards, 5 Shilling cards, 3 Florin cards.
