Peintres Latino Americains

Published March 09, 2024 Updated March 10, 2024

Original artwork by 18 different Latin American artists.

1986 Latin AmericaSpainCollaborativeEditorial Quipus

Presumably, each artist was told which card they were to design for this pack. Some designs are single-ended and some are double-ended; all are colourful and original. The name of each artist is given in the right-hand border of the courts and Jokers. On the court cards the indices are in French. The pips on the numeral cads are mostly set at jaunty angles. The back design (another artist’s work?) is composed of 100 small, double triangles in brown and purple. The box is remarkably uninformative and, sadly, there is no leaflet to tell us more about the artists. On inferior quality board.
