Neerlands Glorie
Neerlands Glorie Kwartetspel published by Hausemann & Hötte N.V, Amsterdam, 1945. The game cards feature quartets of eminent Dutch Inventors, Poets, Painters, Architects, Governors, Scholars, Statesmen, Writers, Technicians, Composers, Naval Heroes and Explorers from different periods.
The compilers of the game point out that the omission of Johannes Vermeer, who, along with Rembrandt, is undoubtedly one of the greatest Dutch painters, is because no portrait of this artist was available. See further details in the Rules►
