Karl Gerich No.8: ‘Cartes Turques’
Intricate designs with a hint of orientalism, double borders and distinctive pips, published 1985.

Above: "Cartes Turques" was published in 1985 with only four 52-card packs produced, printed from copper etchings and hand-coloured by Karl. The pip cards were stencilled. The double-ended designs are derived from 'Cartes Turques' produced by Piatnik and other manufacturers. The courts show very detailed engraving and careful hand colouring.
