HIJITUS playing cards were published during the mid-1980s as an insert in the children’s comic Anteojito. The characters - Hijitus, Petete, Anteojito - were the creation of Manuel Garcia Ferré, who owned the comic. Hijitus had also featured in a TV programme which was a favourite amongst young Argentinean viewers in 1969/70. See also: Mundialito ’78 →
A second set of Anteojito Hijitus playing cards was published as an insert inside the comic, to be pasted onto card and cut out. These can be downloaded here: sheet 1 - sheet 2. |
